You can get to Chamrousse ski resort buying 1,7€ one way ticket
Prices are comparable to online marketplaces; sometimes even cheaper. E.g. a good condition pair of skis is 50 euros.
The condition of the clothes is good (most of it is barely used) with great variety.
The owner is super nice and is willing to negotiate the price.
Students can get the u-glisse card for discounts on skiing for several cool Alpes resorts near Grenoble. You buy this card for 25 euros for the whole season and then pay 14€ for daily Les Deux Alpes skipass instead of 50 without it. The link button give you more info about it.
If you have no experience in skiing I’d advise you to go to Col de porte resort. It’s only 20-30 minutes from Notre-Dame by 62 Tag bus. If you won’t ski there you can also go hiking or sledging. It’s also nice place to go cross-country skiing. You can rent all stuff right there.
